The 4 types of PMS

Did you know there are different types of PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome)?

There are about 4 different types of PMS, According to Jane Bennett, in her book; A Blessing Not A Curse, these area as follows:
  • PMS- A - shown for anxiety type conditions: moodiness, irritable, anxiousness, and nervous tension.
  • PMS-H -shown for hypertension type conditions: weight gain, breast soreness/tenderness, general and abdominal bloating.
  • PMS-C - shown for carbohydrate type conditions: increasing appetite, sweet cravings, fatigue and or faintness,
  • PMS-D - Shown for depression type conditions: sadness/depression, crying bouts, feeling confused or unable to sleep.
I have and am sure that you, as well have experienced at lease one of these symptoms at some stage of your cycles.  I would even bet that you have experienced at least all of these symptoms at some time in your periodic cycles.  Maybe you have experienced moodiness, weight gain, bloating and sweet cravings all at the same time.  Sounds joyous doesn't it.  However we do not have to endure these upsets.  We have the power within ourselves to change this.  And yes I am talking about having a healthy lifestyle and exercise regime...groan... I can hear you loud and clear!

Having a healthy lifestyle is imperative because we cycle so regularly and our lives are so full and hectic.  The thing is that our cycles show us what is going on for us in our lives and if our lives are too hectic and tiresome our periods will eventually knock us for six and become so unbearable that we will only be able to rest through it!!  So the choice is yours take care of you the best way you can or end up with painful periods.

Eating healthfully is important.  70% of your food should be raw and fresh and the rest can be cooked but make healthy choices!  Remember to have at least 2 litres of water per day!  If your symptoms persist see your health care professional or I can help.  I use kinesiology and it can help to balance your way word emotions.

Love
Tanya xx
